Rick Randolph came out on top in his world title fight last night at Red Hawk Casino against Rich Blake. Rick came out behind a good jab and a quick front leg low kick. After attempting a take down, Randolph was able to gain top control on the ground and was relentless with strikes from inside Blake’s half guard. After a successful pass of Blake’s half guard, Randolph was able to transitition from full mount to back control where he pounded away at Blake’s head causing the ref to step in and call the end of the fight at 3:03 of the first round.

She pulled out a big win in the first round last weekend (May 21st) at the Grand Sierra in Reno, NV. About 2:30 into the first round Nikohl submitted Kristina Molina with a rear naked choke adding another W to her rising MMA record.

We want to see how well we have trained every one of our students! Come on out Saturday, April 10th to demonstrate your skills and show us you really want to step it up for the next belt level! Testing for kickboxing belts will kickoff at 10:00 am. The testing schedule is as follows:

Kickboxing: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Mixed Martial Arts: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Bok Fu: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Make sure everyone signs up as early as possible because belts will need to be ordered to guarantee they are in stock!

Testing fees do apply. Yellow – purple is 35.00. Blue – Black is 50.00.

Both Ivan Gataoli and Johnny San Nicholas represented Marinobles with excellence at the Gladiator Challenge fights held at Red Hawk Casino this past saturday.

San Nicholas was able to secure a big takedown at the opening bell and finish his opponent at the 1:58 mark of the first round with a rear choke. Ivan dominated the 0:22 of his fight but an accidental strike to the back of his opponenets head casued his opponent to withdrawl from the remainder of the contest and it was delared a “no contest” much to the dismay of the fans that sat outside in the Rain and the cold to chear the fighters on.
